New Performance Works

This summer, a group of artists will be joining me to create a new performance work tentatively called Proximity, to be performed in Northern California in late July and early August. To be developed in month long “wilderness residency” out on the Yuba River, the work will be evolving the participatory explorations of Axolotl but organically mixing in

New Web Site

A new web site has been birthed for Body Research at

www.BODYRESEARCH.org

check it out for events, writings, galleries of images and video, and other resources. As part of the web page there is a description of Contact Improvisation, an attempt to describe some fundamentals of practice, as well as a description of some of the principles of the advanced release-based contact work we teach. A project over the next year is to continue to develop the written material and augment it with video.
