Events
Reflecting Karl's dedication to Contact Improvisation and meaningful
creative practices, he acts as an organizer, facilitator, and instigator
of events that are not strictly about his teaching or performing.
Largely, these events are more about participation... doing
the practice and being in and sharing the exploration. He is
devoted to the idea that these things that we are studying need to
be about something other than perpetuating more classes and that they
should be in a context of practice. It is also something that
we must do together, create this context of personal practice and
creative participation.
Here are short descriptions of and links to events that Karl has in
the works or is part of, as well as a few past events and dreams.
As some of these events blur the borders of workshop/performance
and/or are multi-modal events, there is some cross-posting with Workshops
and Performances.
