Komm für 3 Tage Tanzen nach Leipzig! Wir laden ein, zu einem unkomplizierten, kostengünstigen, kleinen Contactfestival mit Klassen und Jams. Tagsüber werden Leipziger Contact Improvisation-Lehrer CI-Klassen zu verschiedenen Schwerpunkten anbieten. (Infos zu den Inhalten der verschieden Klassen folgen). Abends bieten Jams offene Räume zum Erkunden, mit einer Einführung zum gemeinsamen Beginn. Wir werden in einer Turnhalle in Leipzig-Lindenau tanzen. Besucher von außerhalb können bei Leipziger Tänzern unterkommen (sag bei deiner Anmeldung Bescheid!). Wir werden kein Essen anbieten. Auf der nahe gelegenen Karl-Heine-Straße gibt es jedoch viele Ess- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Karl-Heine-Kanal lädt zum gemeinsamen Picknick in den Mittagspausen ein. Wir freuen uns auf euren Besuch in unserer schönen Stadt! Das Festival ist offen für alle Erfahrungshintergründe. Tänzer mit wenig bis mittlerem Erfahrungslevel sind besonders willkommen! Wir gehen davon aus, dass Du schon mit Contact Improvisation durch Klassen oder Jams in Berührung gekommen bist. Zeitplan: Wenn die genauen Details zur Zeitplanung feststehen werden sie hier bekanntgegeben. Preise: Wir möchten das Festival klein halten und haben die Teilnehmerzahl auf 45 Personen begrenzt (einschließlich der Lehrer). Ein weiterer Grund sich früh anzumelden.

Come for 3 days of very affordable dancing in Leipzig! A straightforward little contact festival with classes and jams. A diverse group of classes will be led by Leipzig-based contact improvisation teachers during the day on Saturday and Sunday. Evening Jams on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be open spaces for exploring, with a short facilitated opening to get things started. The festival will take place in a gym hall in the Lindenau district. Visitors from outside of Leipzig will be hosted by local dancers (bring a sleeping bag and sleeping pad!). You’ll be on your own for food, but the festival will be quite near Karl Heine Street, which has lots of restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores (including a nice bio shop). We look forward to hosting you here in our lovely city! The festival is open level, and beginner and intermediate dancers are particularly welcome. Everyone is expected to have had some exposure to contact improv via class or jam before coming. Sign up on the Facebook page (link here) to stay in touch with details and updates as we get closer. Schedule: We will have the full details of the schedule in a few weeks, so check back here or sign up on the Facebook event for updates. It will be 3+ hour jam in the evenings Friday/Saturday/Sunday with a warm-up/mixer of not more than half an hour, and 6 hours of classes each day, Saturday/Sunday. Fees: We aim to keep it affordable! Fees are sliding scale, meaning pay what you can in the range. The lower end of the sliding scale starts at 60e and increases as we get closer. Register early, both to save yourself money and to save us work on getting the word out! We aim to limit the festival to 45 participants (including teachers), so another reason to register early!
